We are excited to introduce resin workshops with Tanya, our sole maker here at Milk Diamonds. Tanya is an experienced keepsake jeweller and silversmith.
This two day intermediate course is aimed at people who already have an understanding of resin. You will be learning about silicone as a medium and how moulds are made. We will select items to cast moulds from and you will make your own mould in preparation for day two. Day two will involve using moulds to create resin pieces and you will have an opportunity to make your own pieces from your mould using epoxy resin. You can bring any inclusions with you to see how they can be incorporated into your pieces, though breastmilk will need to be sent in prior to be preserved. Any findings/precious metals used are not included in the workshop fee and will be charged the current price on the day.

This is a two day workshop which runs 10am - 4pm with an hour lunch break each day (not provided)
All workshops take place at our Studio in Frome and are limited to three students, so you can be sure you'll have a personal experience.
The studio is on the first floor and only has access via stairs. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for those unable to use stairs or vertigo sufferers. Tea & coffee making facilities are available, as well as restrooms. There is parking nearby and the local train station is a 20 minute walk.
To book, select your desired date from the dropdown box and add to basket. We'll contact you prior to your workshop with any additional information needed and to confirm attendance. If you have any questions in the meantime, you can always get in touch.
